The Vertical Flight Society was founded in 1943 and is the world's only international technical society for engineers, scientists and others working to advance vertical flight technology, including helicopters, drones and electric aircraft.  As a 501c3 non-profit, we provide opportunities for collaboration and networking between professionals in this domain through technical forums, workshops, symposiums and other events.  We also award $100,000 in annual student scholarships.
